ON warning light problem

1987 rx7 gx no mods.
After washing my car, i went to start it and the warning light started to blink rapidly.
It sound like a relay is being on and off over and over. I have found out it is coming from the CPU, next to the fuse panel beside the pedals. Is there a way to check this unit or the plugs that goes to it?
Any help would be nice.
Heres a video:

my guess?
I think you got water on something..maybe the alternator connection?
If all the Lights come on the Idiot cluster then that is a sign that your alternator is failing.

ah.Hmm..Idea..
check the belt tension on your alternator.
If water got on it,then it may be slipping the belt.

i tighten up the belt, ran it check with multimeter, 12.6v, think the alternator dead , i rev it, no change in voltage.
i was wondering, would the voltage increase slightly when you rev it even when it kaput?

key in on position, i check the 2 wire plug that goes behind the alternator, the R terminal side of the plug got bit over 12V and the L terminal side of the plug got 11. something V, is it ok?

The alternator will self excite when reved over a certain amount so that is why it can produce voltage at higher rpms. The B/W wire has 12 volts w/key to on and the other wire, White/Black, would have close to zero volts w/key to on if the wire/plug was connected to the alternator or 12 volts while unplugged.
