@Brekyrself When you said wire look to be passed through... do you mean i should use the connectors that came with the pump instead of soldering them??

The wires that run through the top metal cover which power the fuel pump. You need a proper bulk head connector. Look at the CJ or Radium power connectors to see what I mean.

Here is a recent thread about it: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...tions-1128234/

Read more here: https://www.irperformance.com/2019-0...-counterfeits/ for the truth about Walbro pumps.
The confusion behind QR code and No QR Code versions of the pumps.
We did ACTUAL research regarding this and got to the bottom of the issue with facts.

Add your car to the list of horror stories I've heard of/read about Elite Rotary Shop.

I'm sorry this happened to you, I hear the guy who runs the place is a motivating salesman that can't deliver.

As promised, TI put out a document explaining this just as we did in detail on our blog post. The non QR version of the 400 series pumps are not fake.

Dnaps, had the very same experience with elite myself. Horrible wiring job, hacked wires all over, missing parts stolen off my car. Very unprofessional experience with the owner as well. Elite rotary is a hack shop first and foremost. If they had done what they where paid for I would have a different story.
