walbro 255 lph into fc problems

walbro 255 lph into fc problems

when i turn my car into the "on" position i do not hear the fuel pump kick on...but when i am cranking my car the pump turns on...shouldnt it turn on when the key is in the "on" position? what could be the problem???

Only should turn on during cranking and when the engine is running. Not just by turning the Key on.

the "on" position that i am speaking of is the one before the car starts cranking. which is the same position the key is in while the vehicle is running.

is the 1300cc.com fuel pump rewire write up the same for both s4 and s5??? are there any other write ups??? i have searched and that is the only one i can find.

The fuel pump only runs if the car is running or cranking.

The fuel pump rewire is for all TIIs.

yeah, the "ON" position isn't what makes the fuel pump turn on, I'm pretty sure the air puling though the MAF turnes the pump on after cranking is done.
