turbo swap question

Hello I've been working on my first turbo rotary swap. i haven't had any problems untill the driveline i was told the auto would work for my turbo tranny to na rear end but the drive line is about 2 inches to short. I measured from the back of my engine to my firewall and its about 3/4 inch further forward than the turbo II i have. So I'm wondering are the motor mounts NA or turbo from s4 or s5 different in anyway?

All FC engines mount the same way. There is no difference except for mount stiffness.

What do you mean by "auto"? The transmission or the driveshaft? Automatic driveshafts are 2" shorter than manual driveshafts, and don't really work for attaching TII manual transmissions to NA rear ends. It will not engage enough of the transmission output shaft.

Check the FAQ for lots of turbo swap information, or click the link in my sig. To use a TII manual transmission with an NA rear end, you need a 38" driveshaft with a TII/auto yoke and an NA pinion flange.
