Turbo on a N/A 1990 FC
Hi everyone i have a 1990 RX-7 N/A. I want to buy a turbo kit for it since the engine is running good and has low miles. I have one problem. I need some info on the oil lines to and from the turbo. Whats the best way to run them?? Has anyone done this upgrade before to a non-tubo FC? Can anyone help with some suggestions or personal know how? Thanks. Brian.

thanks your info was a big help. I hill use the oil sending plug one the driver side of the mother to run my feed line but im thinking of either using the front oil cover or just having a hole drilled in the side of the motor right above the motor which ive heard better about due to the oil pan being so low it might give you a little back pressure. let me know what you think!

Thats on the side of the motor above the oil pan. sorry. i gotta proof my quotes. I think ill just be tapping in on the front oil cover in about the same spot the stock turbo return would be. It seems to be the easiest way and if thats how mazda originally did it thats cool with me lol. Thanks for everyones input i think ill be able to start my project soon.

You are better off swapping an entire turbo drivetrain. The n/a bits were never designed for boost.
This swap is covered in detail here and on other sites.
good luck!

That's probably the hardest way to do it. Unless you intend to remove the oil pan to catch the shavings, you will need to pull the front cover. Which means pulling the oil pan anyway.
