well im running a weber 40idf on my fb with a blow through turbo system and im thinking the carbs a bit on the small side?? would i gain alot more power switching to a 48ida?is it worth the cost?

the car has power and idols really amazing ,its currently running 12s so thats pretty good ,its just this has been bugging me ever since i bought the car.
anyone??

Yeah, that carb is pretty small. I'm running a 45, and I'd consider even that to be too small for a 13B, particularly a ported one. I'd bet going to a 48 IDA would give you a noticeable power boost. Or if a 48 IDF would work on your current manifold, that would be another option to consider if you're on a budget.
