Trying to replace my voltage regulator

so this is my new(to me) rx-7. I had some issues with it this week getting it started, idiot lights wouldnt turn off and the tach constantly read voltage. at first I thought it was the column for the key having a loose wire, not turning completely. Read up a bit on here though and found out a likely culprit is the voltage regulator!

it is a crispy critter!
so, now that I know what the problem is I call the local autoparts stores. everyone has one (much to my surprise!) but one guy says hell have it for me at 10 am tomorrow. I go to sleep thinking all is well and I can pick it up after work. when I call them at work not only have they not even NOT PLACED THE ORDER but it will actually take 3-4 business days to get here. keep in mind this is labor day weekend so it wont ACTUALLY ship until tuesday. I am somewhat miffed at this point.

so my real question here, does anyone know of anywhere else I can try to find this part!? does anyone in the cleveland area have a spare that they would be willing to sell? I would really love to have my car up and running again before the weekend is over...

that looks like a relay not a regulator..but then again I am a Sec gen guy.
Isn't the voltage regulator built into the alternator?.guys???

I read through this thread, sounds like the 79 is the only one with this part, after that year they changed to internally regulated alternators
