Need more info.

Is the clutch actually slipping? For example, if you are in 4th at low RPM and then stab the throttle, does the tach shoot up and the car not increase in speed?

Replace the clutch. Have the flywheel machined.

What Aaron said. Time for a clutch job. Lots of threads about it. If you need to replace the pilot bearing look that up as it's especially fun

If it were my car I would replace the entire clutch system, unless it's been done. Clutch master and slave. They make a pretty nice braided slave cylinder hose. http://www.mazdatrix.com/f-hydral.htm

Good luck with the 7.

Call some local transmission shops and get quotes. The labor rate, etc varies quite a bit by region.

yea do what aaron and others said

also

make sure that the clutch doesn't stay partially engaged when pedal depressed.

there should be little bit of free play in the pedal, maybe 1/2 inch or so.

do the clutch job and see what happens, inspect clutch hydraulics while you at it.
