Towing with uhaul.

I'll be towing a 88 FC with a uhaul dolly. Do I have to disconnect the drive shaft?

I've heard if you don't disconnect the drive shaft, you can burn up your tranny.

Yes if your trans is a automatic, manuals you don't need to just have it in neutral, but I would just in-case so you don't have any possible issues going down the road

ok thanks. i decided to just use a flat bed trailer. Cant wait to get back in the rotary game.

Yea we used the trailer instead of the two wheel trailer from uhaul to get mine back from Cali(live in Wyoming)
