Thumbs up thank you 7 club

Without your help I would have sold this thing for 500 bucks as a project.
With your help I've managed to;
Locate and test actuators
Hook up all my vacuum lines
Generally finish this s4/s5 Frankenstein.
End result: she purrs, holds idle at about 900 which is much better than the 3k+ operating range I bought her with.
I still have yet to button her up, couple hose clamps, and a bit of tinkering to get 750 idle!
Thanks again to everyone! Especially rotaryrocket, hailers, and aaroncake.
You might not have helped me directly but I read through a lot of threads and took advice and suggestions from all. Thx to icemark too making it super newbie friendly info at my fingertips!

If this doesn't give you warm fuzzies all over, you just ain't human. I'd like to also thank the two SuperModerators mentioned by name who like to walk these New Member tech halls and never get tired of answering tech questions with good, solid info even though the burning desire to say "search" always pops up in their minsd, I'm sure.

Guys like the three mentioned is what really drives this place and keeps it at the top of the heap. They can get you back on the road w/o ever touching your car.

Thanks also for the kind words on the website! Icemark, R.I.P., maihn. He's the guy that made me a SuperModerator many, many moons ago.

The major problem was one of my primary injectors was stuck open and non functioning, wouldn't run under 3k. That's now fixed it Idles like a champ, still needs tuning but the hard part is over.

that's awesome! exactly why i'm glad to be a part of this. i know i'm gonna need some advice soon. and just knowing there's help a few clicks away keeps me motivated to tackle this project of my own. looks just like yours. gonna keep it stock. might ask what it takes to turbo II it up. but i don't need all that. stock is really the way to go, (except for a few minor upgrades of course). great that you show your appreciation to the one's that deserve it. even indirectly. i've learned alot myself and haven't asked too much about anything yet. just reading these other guys threads is like a textbook of ideas and reasons for just about anything. good job!
