If you're talking about the Mazdatrix in Signal Hill, California with the great catalog, shipping and customer service, you need to be slapped silly for doubting a legend in RX-7's.

Were that we were all lucky enough to be able to take a car to the guru's themselves.

On an S5, a failed MOP/OMP generally means a portion of the ECU has been burned up as well. Both parts will have to be replaced.

You can't just block off an S5's OMP. That will just permanently put the car in limp mode if the pump is non-functional or you unplug it. You'll need to do something like use Pocketlogger's Rtek v1.0 for S5 NAs, which removes the OMP code. http://www.pocketlogger.com/index.ph...age=1&ecu=S5NA

Yes, you could, but you would have to swap on an S4 front cover, and find some way to control the pump. If you used an S4 TB, you would not be able to use the S5 TPS, so that idea doesn't work. If you keep the S5 TB, there's no attachment point for an S4 OMP rod, but you might be able to use some S4 TB parts to adapt it. The other option would be a custom setup with something like a bike cable to move the pump's lever.
