Temp Gauge not working?

Having trouble with the temp gauge in my '86 FC Non turbo. Every other gauge works but the temp gauge doesn't do anything. I heard somewhere that a wire may have came off the sender. But I don't know where the sender is located. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Welcome to the board.

You'll want to look for a single wire that connects to the sensor, on the rear housing, below the oil filter pedestal. You'll see a photo of the sensor on THIS PAGE (Mazdatrix).

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Are you still having that issue with the buzzer going off intermittently?
