tap water has soo many bad particles in it. if you can taste it being rough on your throat compared to a bottle of distilled water. just think of what it does to a car.

as everyone has said replace all the fluids. flush the water system out. i would drop a bit of oil in the spark plug holes and turn the mota over by hand a few times without the plugs in to get some oil on the seals and when you eventually try to start it put warm plugs in make sure you have enough juice from the battery or maybe even get some booster cables from a running car to turn it over quickly enough.

Thanks for all of the comments guys, with regard to warm plugs, I remember trying to start it a year ago and probably 3 times I took out the plugs, cleaned them and then heated them ALOT with a gas blowtorch....bloody thing still didn't work!!
However when it comes to it I will try again....
