STOLEN!!! my 13b built tranny

We had turned my garage into a paint booth for the weekend so i could paint my engine bay so i put my bikes, lawnmower, and tranny out side for a night. Over the night someone came a took my built tranny with a b&m short throw the drive shaft and the torque arm. If anyone sees this for sale please let me know. although I'm sure whoever took it has no idea that its fully built

That's very unfortunate, but you should probably post in your local forum. We don't know what "Chi Town" means in your location, so it could be China Town in Toronto Ontario Canada, or China Town in New York New York.

For what it's worth you may even want to contact local scrap yards, I've had pickup trucks roam my area looking to pick up anything metal to sell as scrap...

Maybe it was a "crime of opportunity"...

Hope you get it back though...

edit:
Also, I don't know about Mazda's, but my Saturn has VIN #'s etched into both the transmission bellhousing as well as the engine block...

OP, I'm not sure if this will work, but I've heard you may be able to recover some money from your house insurance if you have it...

Technically, you were robbed, so if you could spin it that way and see what they'll give you?

+1 It's worth a shot, also keep checking craiglist and ebay, maybe even put out a wanted ad for the same trans and offer big money and see if the a-hole is stupid enough to reply.

Do you have any identifying info on the trans? I bought one on ebay last month that supposedly had never been installed for 1988 NA. It was supposedly in storage for a long time, and looked like it. I have installed it, but would be glad to look for any ID you could supply to see if this is it. For your sake, hope it is. For me, hope not!
