IL Newbie to Rotary

So this is my first attempt at a Rotary. I have a 83 RX7 Shell no engine no trans no Driveshaft. So I'm picking up a 88 13B FI with Trans. Will that all fit in there? I'm going to be taking off the FI for a CARB Setup I want to learn Carbs never done that neither all of my cars have been FI.

Any help would be greatly appreciated here. I'll have Pics this weekend.

This is a very open question....Someone will need to give you alot of info.
To make this short, the answer is yes it can be done....You need a front cover from a first gen or a old school RX. Engine mounts are in different 1st gen vs 2nd gen.

Here is some info from the 1st Generation Specific (1979-1985) section---sticky

https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/1st-gen-rx-7-faq-page-237777/

This is a kinda beat to death question... people will help you, but it helps if you have a good idea about the parts.

The FAQ is a good starting point.

Where are you in IL?
