spark plug wires

I recently changed my engine in an '87 GXL coupe, but I could not get it running right!
It turns out the spark plug wires were all crossed up!
I think you guys should ad to the FAQ:
Where do each of the spark plug wires go?

http://robrobinette.com/sparkplug_wires.htm

My car was running bad, it felt like it was juttery below 4k and didn't pull hard at all!

It had symptoms of bad MAF, bad TPS etc, but it started up instantly and idled very well!
Just wanted to alert other newbs like myself who's cars might be runnign badly after replacing the plugs or w/e

The link you provided is for 3rd gens. On a 2nd gen car, the housings have "T" and "L" cast into them, and the coils have "L1", "L2", "T1", "T2" on them. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Also, if you switched the trailing plug wires and drove the car, you could be looking at serious engine damage. The leading plug wires can be interchanged w/out problems.

I think my leading plugs were both wrong. the bottom ones.
I had no idea what T and L meant, especially when there is A/c P/s etc all in the way.

It is running good now, no smoking or anything or loss of power.
