how do the rx-7 do in snow?

As long as the car is in good tune (remember, most RX-7s are old cars by now) and you know how to drive, it's a zero issue event. Question anyone who says "undrivable" and "dangerous" because they simply don't know how to drive.

You will need at least 2/3 tread all season tires. Personally I wouldn't attempt it unless I had snow tires (snow tires make a heck of a difference in winter, not just in snow but in cold rain, slush, and ice). If you have summer tires don't bother trying. Summer tires will leave you stuck on level ground if the snow/ice is right.

Lol you guys are bashing it like its impossible I have all season tires got them in sept right when I bought the car and its snowing here in Minnesota and its pretty bad my fc handled just fine just like what aaron said you have to know how to drive

Agreed its RWD and it's light do it at your own deiscretation.. But the reason there aren't many nice older cars on the roads where there is all four seasons is because people choose the worste seasons to drive them and eventually rust

There is a major difference between driving a car that will probably get you there and one that is reasonably prepared for the conditions. I want my cars to handle just about any winter weather my region can throw at it and still be sure to get where I'm going. On time, without having to push out of a ditch. Because of that I choose not to drive my RX-7 unless the roads are clean.

It should be obvious that RX-7s are not built for winter. You either need to improve the drivetrain (not possible) or improve the traction. If you disagree you must have lower expectations than I do.

For 5 years I drove only RX-7s in the winter and really didn't have an issue in the Ontario winters. Snow tires are definitely a must though. The first year I didn't have a set and I learned quickly that was a pretty crazy thing to attempt.

Whoa hey now first off ill correct myself it seemed like some were making it a bad thing and second no need to get all defensive... just putting in my opinion can I not do that.... im handling just fine in Minnesota weather sry...
