I's snowing and i'm bored, Tell me something about my car!
So when my 1991 convirt is warming up, the engine makes a "Pink" noise. i'm guessing part of the sound quality is due to the aftermarket exhaust that was installed before I got it, but it doesnt have a perfectly smooth idle until warm.
also, It rarely spooles all the way up to 3000 rpm on a cold start, it usually goes to about 2100. As far as i can tell, this isnt on the FAQ's, so any help would be nice!

Aftermarket exhausts, especially those with thin walls, will make all kinds of "pingy" noises. And if your ears are sensitive, you will hear them.
The 2100 RPM cold start is likely just due to a worn out ASV and BAC. Cleaning them both may fix the issue as well as improve your idle.
