Smoke inside cabin?
Smoke inside cabin?
I was recently driving my '90 gxl fc and i tried to launch it at 4.5k in first gear. when the rpm started to hit 6.5k-8k white smoke started to come inside the cabin in an empty spot under my cd player.
I freaked out so i shifted and pulled over to the side of the road. Temp is fine, oil press. fine, no smoke coming out the back while idling or revving and no warning lights came on. My FC never smokes period and it was just surprising to see white smoke inside the cabin. Does anyone know what might have caused this and if it might be a problem?

Ya ur right that's what it was, the smoke smelled different from oil or coolant. It smells like a byproduct of friction. I was talking about this with my cousin, and I realized my mistake. I put a heavy load on the clutch. My cousin is gonna give me some launch lessons so this hopefully won't happen again.
Thanks for reassuring the cause tho.
