Small block conversion
My son picked up an 86FC for his first project car. It came with a small block conversion with a turbo 350 trans and B&M shift kit. It has a high rise intake, 660 cfm SBC, comp cams, high lift roller rockers, aluminum heads, electric water pump, msd distributor We are in the process of changing the mounting point with a motor plate instead of block points. We are also changing the exhaust to an X pipe design with no cats and Magnaflow mufflers. We are gonna run a high flow fuel pump and 15 gallon fuel cell. Has anyone ever used a mega squirt setup or stand alone system? We have power to all the lights, electronics, radio with the stock ignition key switch which is powered by a Yellow top.

Thanks we really appreciate the guidance. He is 17 and wanted to build something different than the rest of the crowd. I do the same except with motorcycles. We are glad that people are embracing it.

Slowly getting there...

I bought mine with the intention of V8 swapping it, but then decided to keep it Rotary powered. Many would consider it an abomination, and that's why the club has their own sub-forum for you heretics . There are a lot of cool guys down there with cool builds going, including Freeskier7791 who has his own Youtube channel called "The Drifting Dad". Nice guy with informative suspension upgrade videos of his V8 1st gen drift car.
