NC slight coolant leak driver side

sup guys. hope everyone is doing well. my rx7 is having a slight coolant issue and i cannot seem to locate the problem. the low coolant buzzer will buzz sometimes and then go off. i checked the coolant level and it seems to be low. but i refilled it about 3 weeks ago at jiffy lube. hence the reason why i refilled it the in the first place bc i noticed that it was low on coolant. but 3 weeks later, it seems to be low again. the car is driveable and even when the buzzer goes on, it comes off in less than 45 seconds.

then this morning i noticed that the underside of the front driver side of the car (almost in the front of the left wheel) that it was wet, and when i looked, i noticed that i was having a small coolant leak. i started the car (the buzzer came on, but then it came off after 30+ seconds). i know that theres a coolant leak, but does anyone have any idea where i should start looking when i get home tomorrow? lol thanks guys.

Check all your hoses, water pump, radiator, and your overflow tank (if its cracked it could be leaking)anything not properly clamped and put on will cause a small leak that could inevitably get worse.

The time it will leak most will be after its fully warm and shut off, since the pressure has nowhere to go since its not flowing it will be forced to come out wherever the leak is since it can't hold the pressure.

Hope that helps

hey guys, thanks for all your responses! no i haven't checked anything yet because i got home when the sunset was fading and it was getting dark outside. lol. i however had the coolant reservoir refilled but after about an hr of having it shut off then turned on, the buzzer came on but it went off in like 5 seconds. i drove it 60+ miles home and the buzzer didnt come on. i havent checked tonight but i sure will tomorrow morning.

also, does anyone have a cheap right door handle they would like to give or sell to me for cheap? thanks guys for the response. im new to the whole rx7 thing and this forum and this seems really helpful

It will take less than five minutes to diagnose this with a proper cooling system pressure test.
Don't pump the pressure up too high!
Testers & Adapters

Pressure test is most effective when performed with a cold engine condition. When the engine heats up, they leak may seal itself up, hence the slow-leak you experience.
