Should I be having the 3,000 RPM drone?
My 4-port 13B REPU has a RB header, presilencer, and muffler. I love the sound above 4,000 RPM and its actually not bad cruising on the highway just under 4,000 rpm. However driving around town in 3rd at about 3,000 RPM is unbearably loud in the cabin. I'm wondering if it is maybe an exhaust leak. Would that cause the low frequency drone?

if you extended the tail pipe though it would help with your Interior noise.
Right now it looks like it would just hit the bottom of the car.

I ended up extending the tail pipe and adding another muffler. It's quiet in the cabin and sporty from behind. The tone is deeper and a little less unique sounding...but my ears just couldn't take the straight-through exhaust droning at 35-45 mph in 3rd or 55-65 mph in 4th.
