Severe lack of boost after a rebuild
So im relatively new to the fd's, and the ins and outs. However iv just had a rebuild done, which included a street port and opening up of the waste gate and a bigger flap been placed in there. Now for some reason i have very litle boost, /9around 0.3bar) however this was about the only thing working before the rebuild lol.
iv tried checking to my limit of knowledge, and found that the bottom aactuator arm (1 u can see from unnderneath) was not on, and also a loose clip. however this doesnt seem to of solved any problems. There is no sound of a boost leek thats obvious (iv had this before) So wondered if theres anything else i could check??

There is lots to check. I spent a year tracking some boost issues down on the FD. DId you do the remove & reinstall yourself? Sounds like the vacuum hose routing under the UIM is wrong.
Best advice I can give you is to go to the 3rd gen FAQ and go down to the T section where you'll find some links to Turbo Troubleshooting which should give you a plan of attack.
Good luck.
