Getting a little wear on the drivers side seat back. Can you swap seat backs ? Brian

 

Yes, I did that when I had a 88 convertible also. I found another pair of matching seats and took the best of the used ones I bought and mine and pieced them back together. I think the seat back to the driver was better from the seat I bought and maybe vice versa for the passenger.

It has been years, but I do remember that is was not very difficult to take the backs off and switch them, of course the complete seat were out of the car.

I would imagine it is going to be difficult to find stock seats in good condition.
