Red face S6 RX-7 Oil cooler connection help

Hello all,

Please forgive me If i'm asking a dumb question, but I am building my first RX-7 into a race car and I am trying to connect dual oil coolers, and I have been informed that the standard RX-7 coolers have a built in thermostat.

Where is it?
Do I need it?
Do the coolers require an external oil pump?
(Dumb question) Where do they connect to on the 13BT?

Not really sure where it is
If you are using the stock dual oil coolers, its not like you are going to remove it on purpose is it?
No
Connect near the oil filter and the front cover of the motor.

Many race cars use aftermarket, larger dual oil coolers. In that case, you will benefit from a thermostat but will not need an external oil pump.
