s5 oil injector and vacuum
Hey guys,
got an S5 TII and I did an emissions delete on it. Im having some vacuum and idle problems. The idle fluctuates, revs up and down while at anything less than 3k rpm. It also hesitates and bucks under acceleration, with the associated lack of power.
I checked my oil injectors by putting a vacuum pump on the top of the injectors and one of them held no vacuum and the other three only held it for a second or two. I have the 4 lines leading to the big port on the back side of the throttle body. How do I need to hook these back up? Also, how much vacuum should these things be able to resist so I can see if theyre bad?
The other vacuum lines I have hooked up are the pressure regulator, and a line that leads from the back of the throttle body down in between the intake-side oil injectors. Aside from that, nothing else is hooked up to vacuum at the throttle body. The solenoid line to the turbo is still hooked up, as well as the one to the charcoal cannister. Aside from that, absolutely nothing else is hooked up. Do you guys think that the vac problem could come from bad oil injectors?
Any ideas?
