When you use the Honda slave cylinder. Do you use the Honda arm or Mazda. My step brother kept the Mazda arm.

Under 8-10 PSi I feel like clutch is slipping. But could also be the slave has to much tension.
I'm pretty sure I used the mazda arm. I like the way the gearing feels but you need at least an18" rim.

I would just like to bump this thread. It's been in the car working well. The Honda slave fits. The Honda rod has to be shortened. But the drive is great, you will loose speedometer, they have a GPS speed unit online that can tap into the stock wiring to get speed back working. I'm just using my phone GPS for the speed.
only downside is the 4" forward shifter is too close to the sterio so I had my rx8 shifter bent and welded at a weird angle but I would like to find a shifter or solution to put it at stock location.
I may be swaping to a rx8 5 speed Bell/fd center and rear case hybrid trans so I can keep my interior stock again.

When you say rough is the gearing too short or too long?

Hey, If you fit the tail shaft housing from a Miata, it'll move your gear lever back 80mm. Just done it to fit my FB Series 3.

Did you find out what clutch to use for the b13 with the rx8 6 speed in it?

I'm using a TII clutch/pressure plate with the RX-8 throwout bearing.
