RX7 Flooded Badly

I bought an 87 GXL with a turbo 2 swap in it. Turbo motor had around 60k on the swap, it ran until the owner discoverd dripping injectors and then he let the car sit for about 6 months flooded to **** with fuel in the rotor housings. I have gotten new plugs for it, checked for ignition spark, it has fuel, all for injectors are new from RC engineering 550cc replacement injectors for now, its a Series 4 motor and electronics. I have tried the unflooding procedure many times, it has a fuel pump shut off switch, should i pull the EGI comp fuse anyways so the injectors wont fire? I have put a teaspoon of ATF in the lower spark plug holes to try and build compression again. and when i tried to start it, still nothing. Has s4 ECU and harness. Would the ECU make a difference, is there an anti theft device that would stop the car from starting?? I am new the rotary world plz help.

Don't bother with ATF, use just regular old engine oil.

It may take several attempts to unflood it, especially if it sat for a long time full of fuel.

Put about an ounce of oil into each leading spark plug hole, then rotate the engine by hand several times. Repeat 3 times. Now pull the EGI fuse, and spin the engine over with the starter for about 20 seconds. Put more oil into the leading holes, spin it over for another 20 seconds. Now put a FRESH set of plugs in and try to start the car. Once it catches, hold it above 3000 RPM to keep it alive until the engine burns all the junk out.

Now this is assuming there isn't any other problem. You do have fuel and spark, right?

Yes have fuel and spark, checked both. Starting to think it may be an ECU problem cause the engine check light doesnt turn on when the key is turned. I am at a lose for words at the moment.

It frankly could be damn near anything if the previous owner messed with it. However if you have fuel and spark, with spark at the right time, then it will start. Have you checked spark?

Maybe the CAS is way off?

try giving it a jump while you try and deflood it. i tried deflooding my car for the longest time and then i tried giving it a jump while deflooding it cause the battery was almost dead from all the attempts and it worked.

i have a bone stock 87. usually to un flood i would put the throttle wide open, on a carb car, but fuel injection is trickey. if you still havent figured it out try what the last poster said, hook it up to a jumper box or another car and crank that thing till it tries to run then slowly add throttle. only issue is your starter is going to be very unhappy.

You don't need to run the car to check the CAS position, and it will never start if the position is wrong.

You'll find the factory service manuals here:
http://foxed.ca/rx7manual/manuals/

Follow the instructions to install and check the CAS.
