Rx-7 that wont accelerate
i have a 1989 mazda rx-7 manual...non turbo...everything works but it wont go...i can put it in gear and it starts to go but it just starts to pulll and pull. ...i was driving it fine then all of a suden it just would not start ... i cecked the coils, and changed the baterry but i now cant get it to run. it runs at 2-5 miles per hour now...can enyone give me a hint or tip on what may be the problem.?
Not seeing why you're mentioning the battery. Is it dying because the battery drains while the motor is running? If that's the case, get the alternator tested and replace it if necessary. That's usually the problem.

Battery voltage should be at 12.5 volts with the Key off and with the engine running at least 13.5 volts (but less than 15 volts).
Anything other than that indicates the alt is not working or not working correctly.
Fix that first...
Then the car might be in limp mode from something else, but you need to have stable voltage first.
