Rework brakes: ABS restore or Delete?

For my '90 Turbo II, I found a used ABS valve block to replace the leaky one in the car. I am wondering if the ABS Delete route will assure a decent braking system and avoid a recurrence of brake fluid leaks. What's the popular opinion? What has been done to overcome this weakness in the gen2?

If you know how to flare brake lines & bend them to shape (or find a competent mechanic to do it for you), bypassing the ABS pump and removing it will result in a well balanced brake system that won't leak. I did that to my '89T2 over 15 years ago when its ABS pump started leaking, and I've been very happy with the results. Another benefit to removal is with the pump gone, the car is about 20 lbs lighter, and there's much more room available to work on the turbo or anything else in that corner..
