I don't need paint them, you can polish them.. Regular polish paste for cars..

I go for 1200 grit wet sand, then to 2000 grit wet sand.. If lights don't have big scratch, then you don't need pass them with 120 ,240 ,400, 800 papers, go with wet sand..

Before and after

Finished

Those do look good.

Now to take the fogs and blinker lenses off to do the same.

Meguiar's clear plastic polish works very well too. I used it to clean up all of the plastic lenses on my car.

Permatix makes a headlight restoration kit which I just used on my Insight. It worked very well, but took about an hour to do one lens. It comes with all the stuff necessary. First sand with the 1500 grit, then the 2000 grit, then the 2500 grit and then finally polish with a plastic polish. Been meaning to do it for a while on the FC.

I don't recommend painting the lenses though. Clear coat on plastic almost always seems to yellow quickly.

+1 for good luck.

They break easily, right where the studs mount in the plastic. They'll come out if it breaks, but you'll probably want some jb weld on hand just in case.

I just did this last night, looks a lot better than the milky white. I used 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper then some plastic polish.

Where do you guys get sandpaper that fine? I can only find up to 800 which is only good for polishing aluminum not plastic.
