replacement prob w new radiator

the replacement radiator that i ordered did not come with coolant sensor switch, is there a way to get around this?

You can put the coolant sensor in. Joking aside, I’m assuming you mean there’s no hole for the coolant level sensor at the top of the radiator.

you can drill and tap for it, but I wouldn’t trust the chance of metal shavings being in the radiator, plus the small wall thickness probably wont allow for it unless you welded a bung on.

so you can ground the sensor wire to the chassis and it won’t activate the buzzer, just keep up on checking the coolant level.

or you can return it and buy a radiator with the tapped hole for the coolant level sensor.

If your new radiator has the threads for one, you can buy a new one. Maker sure it comes with the rubber o-ring/seal.

Typically new radiators do not come with new sensors. All sensors will have to be transferred over from your old radiator.
