Repacking rear wheel bearing - easier than replacing the whole thing?

Right now I've got a whine coming from the back of my car that gets louder as the speed of the car increases.

Doesn't change whether or not i'm on the throttle
Doesn't change based on road surface

Changes when I turn right on a sweeping corner and weight is transferred off the drivers side.
Changes the faster I go, starts to really get my attention past 55 mph, and gets worse from there

So based on this I'm pretty sure it's the rear drivers wheel bearing. Let me know if it could be anything else.

I'm tempted to try and re-pack the bearings with grease, can this be done easier than changing it out? Or by the time I get to the bearing, will it be better to just change it?

Also I'm assuming I should probably do both bearings.

So repack, or by then should I just replace them?

I realize replacing means I gotta take the shaft off and take it somewhere for the old one to be pressed off.

Thanks for the help!

FC rear wheel bearings are sealed units and can't be repacked. Each bearing needs a new bearing seal as well. If you dont have a press at your disposal, you'll need to take the hub to a machine shop to press the old out and press the new in.

So this does sound like the wheel bearing, right?

What would the labor on this be? I'm in an apartment place right now and can't really tackle a project like this unfortunately.
