to remove power steering or not?

After dropping my motor back in I'm considering leaving my power steering off. My car is a weekend Car nothing to extreme. It sure makes changing spark splugs a lot easier and cleans up the engine bay a bit.

How are these cars to drive around with the p.s. re moved?

What is the proper wsy to remove it? Do you just un bolt the p.s. unit take off a few lines and call it good? What about a manual steering rack?

You can check this post, it's just a little lower on this forum page.

You'll find an easy way to do it and also the complete removal link.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will leave it off for now and see how I like it.

The motor is in and running, but doesn't want to shift while its running. Thats a whole new thread. It looks like a little more down time.
