Do i really need the ABS system? Nope.....
Im gonna be drifting with this baby and i don't need the ABS system anymore. Anyone know exactly what i do need to remove?
A big reason for me removing it is cuz i alsso want to shave some weight off of it and any little thing will be good. I wanna shave down to 2000 lbs.
I'm going to go Single turbo GT35R....
I read somewhere that i will have to delete A/C and power steering....is that true? I still want those amenities. Don't I just slap on the single trubo kit, upgrade injectors, tune and im good right? BTW what size injectors do i upgrade to? Im also doing a streetport. Any advice and help would be great.
Thanx

You're going to have a very hard time getting down to 2000lb. You have to lose 800lb; that's one third of the car. A/C, P/S, ABS, interior, excess wiring, lighting, sound insulation, replace glass for lexan, race seats, etc, etc. Realistically if you get to 2500lb you're doing pretty good.

If you want to lose weight, yes you must lose this.

If you attempt to slap things together, you will also slap your apex seals out the exhaust.

It's vitally important that you plan fuel injection to the boost and hp that you're aiming for. Wideband O2 sensor is probably a necessity to keep an eye on the fuel delivery. It's also critical that you find an experienced rotary tuner. You'll need to upgrade your cooling system, do maintenance, probably make suspension mods, etc.

Good luck. The information to do all of the things you want to do is well documented here in this forum. You just might not be able to meet all of your goals (weight and luxuries) with the same car.
