WI Radio Issues

Hi, I'm new to the site. I have an '88 convertible with a radio and power antennae problem. I blew the main 80amp fuse accidentally while changing batteries and after replacing the fuse found that everything works except the radio and power antennae. All other fuses under the hood and under the drivers side dash test OK. The wiring diagram shows a 7.5 amp fuse in the line going to the radio and a 10amp one going to the line to the antennae. Where would those be located? Any ideas. Thanks, BobbyC.

Alright let me first ask how the 80 amp fuse blew. That's going to be the information people really need to give you a direction to start moving in.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I was out of town. I blew the 80 amp main fuse while changing the battery. Upon replacing the 80 amp fuse everything worked except the radio and power antenna. I check the rest of the fuses under the hood and those under the dash and all test OK.

Thanks,

BobbyC

88 RX-7 Radio has no power

BobbyC, I’m having the exact same problem with my 88 RX-7 Vert. Blew the main amp fuse jumping the battery. After replacing the fuse, the radio no longer has power. Everything worked before the main amp fuse blew. Did you ever figure out the problem?
