Radio and Defi gauges don't work?

Alright im posting this as i am helping a friend try and sort out an electrical problem. So it all started when his fiancee plugged her iphone into the usb port in the deck then the deck and defi gauges stopped working. The autometer gauge and everything else still works. We have tried the fuses and relay and nothing. The defi gauges have some wires attached to the radio wires (he did not do the defi gauges himself). We cant seem to find what is wrong any suggestions??

Sounds as though the Defi gauges are spliced into the radio circuit. Check the radio fuse, as well as the room fuse.

get the fuse locations from the Stickies/ FAQ's
It will show the lid of the fuse box and where the fuses are.
You need to follow the Defi wires to the fuse box.

Use a multi meter to start tracing back to the junction you have lost power from.
