questions about rx7

I want to trade my evo 8 for a rx7.

I am new to rx7 world and I noticed that some rx7 have twin turbo and some have single turbo. Which is better and what is the difference?

I can only find around 1993-1995 rx7s. Are these versions good?

Well...Twin turbos have two turbos, single turbos have one.

First, hit up the FAQ for the 2nd and 3rd generation. That will answer most of your questions.

2nd gens turbos are single turbo from the factory.

3rd gens are all twin turbo from the factory.

People convert to single turbo when the factory turbos won't go to the power levels they want, or to simplify the ridiculous rats nest of wires, solenoids and vacuum lines running the stock twins.

Twins don't give you more power, just less lag (faster boost) having two smaller turbos rather than one big turbo.
