radiator cap pressure?

let me begin by saying sorry if this has previously been discussed. i have been using a 1.3 radiator cap and just today i read that its usually .9 is there anything bad about using the higher pressure cap? my car doesnt overheat or anything. i was just wondering. i did purchase it from a rx7 racing store online. thanks ahead for any opinions or tips.

I'm going to guess you mean a 1.3 bar radiator cap. Replace it with a 0.9 bar (13 psi) cap. You could blow a hose off with a 19 psi cap.
