Quick question on intake manifolds

Ok I was wondering if a 3gen intake would fit on a 86 engine?

Yes it will. Is it worth it? Not at all. The only thing it does is look better. Read through this thread, https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ghlight=fd+uim.

An '86 will be an NA, since there was no '86 turbo (except overseas). A 3rd gen intake won't bolt up to an NA LIM without fabbing a large connection section. And then when all is said and done, you'll probably lose power due to the runner length being designed for a turbo engine.
