Hi I have a 1990 RX7 FC 2nd gen. Now I'm new to rotaries, so its already been a experience having it for the past week. I experience a loss of power after pedaling it to the floor sometimes, like the tps sensor is getting stuck, I guess bcuz of cold. But I was driving it and nowicant tack above 2000rpms. Faulty tps sensor?

 

The CEL should be illuminated. Check codes.

Sounds a bit like a TPS issue. The car will go into limp mode if it sees a fault with the full range TPS or the metering oil pump.
