ND Q about storing slicks

This is the first year this Rx-7 will be put in cold storage. I have Hooser Racing slicks on it and I have heard both was that it will not hurt the tires and that it will ruin the tires. Right as of now they are still on the car and I do NOT have another set to put on there. So will they be ok for the next years autox season or would i have to get new ones??? I live in ND so it does get kinda cold here.

I would get the off the rims and store them properly. Put them in some tire bags, and make sure they aren't exposed to extreme cold temperatures.

Put the car on stands, remove the tires and store where they don't see severe temps. I'd recommend that with any high-performance summer tire...even if you don't have to worry about freezing. But this is from a tech PDF on Hooser's website:
Freeze Crack Advisory: This advisory addresses proper storage and use of Hoosier tires in cold conditions. Hoosier Tires, especially asphalt and hard compound tires, may experience Rubber Cracking if the tires are transported, crushed, flexed or stressed when frozen. The following guidelines are provided to avoid this problem.
1. Always store Hoosier Racing Tires indoors at temperatures above 32˚ F.
2. If tires have been subject to 32˚ F or less, allow them to warm to room temperature (about 70˚ F) for a minimum of 24 hrs before the tire is mounted, transported or flexed.
3. Always use spare tires not intended for future competition to store vehicles for prolonged periods of time or winter transport.
4. If below freezing temperatures are expected, please consider shipping tires once more favorable conditions exist.
Do not use tires that have evidence of Freeze Crack Damage.

If you aren't rolling on them in the cold conditions they should be fine. But if you have the means to have the car on stands go that route for sure. Where you at in ND? Shoot me a pm, as i'm in ND as well.
