putting series 4/5 engine together

have got the motor in the car and was wondereing if theres any pages or where i would find them on where everything goes and screws in and goes to where on the motor. cheers

You mean the Factory Service Manual, available for download in the 2nd gen FAQ?

If you swapped an S4 engine into an S5 vehicle or vice versa, stick with the electronics and sensors from that vehicle and just use the engine block you swapped in.

hi there i have put the series 4 block into a e30 bmw and wanting to find out what i can take off the inlet manifold and how everything else goes like oil lines for things and stuff like that.

Start with the FSM as mentioned.

Then, search the 2nd gen forum for "emissions removal diagram" which should show you a minimum vacuum routing diagram.

One thing to keep in mind: no matter what anyone says, DO NOT remove the BAC or the cold start thermowax system. Just trust me.
