Putting my dash back in; not sure where this one goes?
Hi all,
Pulled my dash and have it just about all back together. I found another connector that I don't yet have plugged in and I'm not sure where it came from.
The connector in question is the single spade connector. It is right next to the ECU and the cabin fan. I can't seem to find a place for it. The wire is black with a yellow stripe.
I have looked through the FSM and the BEM, but I am still really struggling making sense of the artist's rendering of the harness and the schematics.

Maybe it's just my old eyes but I'm not seeing much in your picture. Still, it sounds like you're describing the fan module test ground wire. It typically isn't connected to anything.
Side-note...many owners (including me) back in the day used it to keep the radiator fans running for 10 minutes after engine shut-down in hopes of reducing under-hood temperatures and the baking of all the under-hood plastics, rubber hoses, solenoids etc. After a while I discovered, at least to my satisfaction, that it was mostly a 'feel-good' thing and didn't have any real value.
More description of the wire, connector and it's location here: Cooling Fan Modification
