NV Pulling motor question

93 FD. Since my rear rotor has no compression it's time to pull the motor. Is it easier to pull it with the transmission or by itself?

if you have an engine hoist that will adjust the angle then pulling motor and tranny at the same time is a little simpler since the bolts are hard to remove.

i removed the engine itself on my fc left the tranny bolted up and later found out my throw out clutch bearing was broken. might have been from removal. so i recommend pulling both.

Different people will tell you different things. If you are going to re-install the motor with OEM motor mounts, I find it easier to re-install with the transmission already mated to the engine. With aftermarket motor mounts, I leave the transmission in the car.
