Check fuel pressure, set the TPS, report back.

if you're concerned that its not getting fuel then buy some MAF Cleaner, remove the intake piping at the throttle body, and have someone spray a small amount in the throttle body as you attempt to start the car (you may need to depress the gas pedal a little bit to open the throttle plate enough for the MAF cleaner to get in).

If the car starts (tries to start and comes closer than attempts without the MAF Cleaner) then you're problem is with your fuel delivery system. Since you said that you've tried pressing the gas (IDK how this affects FC RX7s since I own an 8) I'd say it would be a problem with your pump, injectors, filter, FPR, Throttle cable, or (like ncidchris said) TPS...

If it doesnt affect the start attempt...check spark and air delivery...
