Arrow Price?

I recently found a 93 rx7 for sale

it's currently not running and not in the best shape, which is good... because I can't afford one that is :P

wondering if you guys could give me a price estimate on what this cars worth? I'm looking to get a good deal keep in mind, after all this car needs TLC.

the owner claims that one of the rotors recently started getting low on compression and is not positive that it's blown because "it still builds pressure, just not enough".

"It is most likely a blown vacuum hose or gasket."

says it's missing fenders, needs new tail lights, headlight skin (the metal part that goes on the headlights), this oval shaped piece that went above the gauge cluster (was cracked so it was pulled), fist sized bondo spot on hood from an incomplete dent repair, and needs a good washing/clay bar'ing.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my thread, Thank you

I would think you would be doing good getting 4-5K for that, if the engine is indeed bad maybe less. compression test might help to verify the problem.

I concur with rxweelo, that sounds like a reasonable price for an almost complete shell and block. Keep in mind that that you will spend the most amount of money during the resurrection on the motor. A blown seal isn't the end of the world, but a cracked or grooved rotor housing or damaged rotor will be expensive to replace.

I don't know the extent of damage to the engine or why it isn't even running

I do know he's owned the vehicle for sometime now and it's never ran in his possession. I want to assume the worst, so I don't end up with any surprises

I would give him a figure like 3K to start so that 4K would seem like alot more, Just for the fact it doesn't run, and it looks like it could've even been a stolen car. Happened to me once , possibly twice. I'm not sure yet about the second time.
