Looking at all the threads about using a TII tranny with an NA engine the rule seems to be use the clutch from whatever transmission you're using and the flywheel for the engine type/series. This suggests that any pressure plate will bolt to any flywheel.

So my question is can you swap pressure plates between engine series/types?

The reason I ask is if I want just a little more clamping force with my S4 NA engine/tranny then using a stock TII P/P would add quite a bit to the torque capacity (and pedal effort I'm sure) of a stock clutch. Even switching to an S5 NA P/P would have a small benefit.
The only thing I'm not sure of since I can't compare side by side is if the hubs are different enough to cause interference.

You need the entire clutch assembly to match the transmission. The TII transmission requires a TII flywheel, TII clutch disc and thus TII pressure plate. The discs and pressure plates are of different diameters and the bolt holes don't line up.

one flywheel is 215 and the other is 225mm.
The reason for using the flywheel and clutch is because the Starter is different too,and the gear around the flywheel is also different.
