power steering broke.

I put a new steering wheel on and now my power steering doesnt work. What did I break?

did you overtighten the nut and now the wheel can't turn freely?

Case closed..Mechanic error.

Seriously though, you have to find a way that the nut will stay tight and the wheel can move freely.If you have pulled the shaft up tight,the wheel just won't have enough play to go back on it's own..Did that got the T-Shirt!

There is also a small plastic ring that senses the Position of the wheel.It is put in between the steering wheel and the Hub.If that breaks your PS Computer will start beeping...5 beeps..5 beeps..5 beeps..

Thanks. I loosened in but it barely helped. I took the steering wheel sensor off and it turns free. But yea..
