Question Possibly a fuse?

Hey guys, I've had my rx-7 for a little while now and I've already had to replace the alternator and clutch master/slave cylinder and clutch line, now there is some sort of electrical problem. It sat over the holidays (about a week and a half) and was started once to move it but now it is completely dead. No interior lights come on or any other electrical things in the car. I tried jumping it and there was absolutely zero response to the jump. I'm thinking that maybe the main fuse was somehow blown? I have checked all the visible battery leads and other main wires under the hood and they all look good. The connections are also clean so I have counted that out too. If anyone has any ideas that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.

Matt

Have your battery checked. If the battery is completely dead it may not take a charge.

Ok so I looked over some of the fuse diagrams and went and looked at my fuse box and sure enough it looks like it is the main 80a fuse that blew. I'm wondering if it blew when I tried to boost it. Oh well atleast now I know what's wrong! Thanks for the input and if it doesn't work after this I will deffinetly be checking the battery.

it might have blown if when you jumped it you went from terminal to terminal instead of terminal to ground.

I just finished putting the new fuse back in and hooked everything back up but there still is no electrical power. The fuse was blown for sure but now I think that the battery must be dead as well. I'm pretty sure that I had hooked the jumper cables up properly, but I think I did do them in the wrong order (negative then positive). Anyways I'll check the battery to see if it's still good and try and get it on a charger. Thanks everybody for all the help it is really appreciated! I'll post back once I find out something about the battery.
